St. Anthony - Florentine Statue 5"

St. Anthony is considered the patron saint of lost or stolen items.  He is also recognized to be the patron saint of the elderly, fisherman, horses, oppressed and poor people, among others.

Praying to Saint Anthony when something is lost is a Catholic tradition: 

'Tony, Tony,
Look around.
Something's lost
and must be found!'

The more 'polite' version:

'Dear St. Anthony please come around something is lost and it cannot be found'.

St. Anthony's feast day is June 13th, but we can ask his help at any time we feel its needed.  You need to say St. Anthony prayer with faith in your heart and mention your specific request and needs.  These requests could be about:

•  lost or stolen things,
•  lost items,
•  lost people,
• any lost matters in your life which are important to you.
